Origin: Born a mutant, Sam learned of his power during a car accident at age 16. Trapped in a burning vehicle, reaching out to push the car door open, the contact with heated steel triggered his abilities. Upon transforming Sam’s steel body and new strength enabled him to break free. Taking his ability with metals and majored in mechanical engineering and metallurgy, Sam earned a Master’s degree and took a position with ASTECH. While helping investigate thief of ASTECH property, Sam and Debbie Foster the Assistant CEO of ASTECH, encountered an SPB extermination group. Revealing his secret, Sam stopped the group and saved Debbie’s life. She then recruited him to become the hero Alloy, one of their bravest members.

Powers: Alloy has the ability to change his body into any form of base or alloyed metal. This gains him superhuman strength and limited invulnerability. He also has the ability to analyze any metal by touch.
