Origin: Little is known about the mysterious Recluse and his origins. Believed born a mutant with a adaptive morphing genetic code, as a child Recluse was bitten by an ordinary brown recluse spider. The bite proved harmless itself until puberty hit and Recluse began developing powers that mimicking the actual brown recluse itself. It is not know which side of the law the Recluse actually is own but his actions indicate he follows his own code of ethics. In his civilian identity he is a successful motocross racer and mechanical engineer.

Powers: Recluse has heightened strength, speed, reflexes, agility and endurance. He has the ability to cling to walls and most surfaces. His most unique ability is to secrete what he calls venom from his finger tips. This venom can be expelled in the form of a gaseous vapor or liquid to and almost fibrous strand and at great distances. In it’s gaseous form Recluse’s venom causes uncontrollable muscle spasms followed by complete skeletal muscle paralysis to it’s victims. In it’s liquid form it is a powerful acid that devolves anything it comes into contact with. When ejected as a dense fiber it hardens nearly instantly to a kevlar like material that Recluse can bind his opponents with or create rigid web like structures. He has yet found a way to keep the fiber flexible enough to swing with. He instead uses a polymer metal cable fired from a small hand held device of his own design he calls his brown line. Recluse is also a trained street fighter and skilled martial artist.
